blackboard fabric

blackoilcloth07

now how cool would a footstool or chair re-upholstered in this stuff be? or even easier, a tablecloth to write fun messages to your dinner guests on, i'm thinking up all kinds of things for this blackboard oil cloth fabric from bell'occhio out of san francisco. imagine the possibilities! (via designer's block).

Hmmmmm - how about drapes with drawings of giant damask emblems and paisleys in white chalk - I guess I wouldn't be able to touch them much though!
Very cool.

I think - placemats for kids at the restaurants. Let them draw while they wait. Wipe them. good to go again. Or travel boards. Love the blackboard oil cloth!!!
