Old School Exhibition @ Uppercase Gallery

classroom

We are so excited today to be one of the first to showcase the pictures from the Old School exhibition opening up this weekend over at Uppercase in Calgary.

Inspired by vintage school memorabilia, the exhibition which includes over 80 artworks from (some of our favorite artists) is also documented in a commemorative book (now shipping). The exhibit will be open to the public this Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 (1-5pm) and available for sale online on August 24! The Old School exhibit is also at Poppytalk Handmade this month participating in our School Days market where you can preview some of the pieces already.

Love it - I am starting to set up a schoolroom for my kids and am determined to go as vintage as possible. I'm bookmarking this post as inspiration! Wish we had committed to going to Calgary this weekend for the vintage drag races - would definitely drop by the exhibition.
