On the Radar: Vintage Arrows

arrows

A beautiful set of six vintage arrows with colourful wooden shafts and feathers which would be a fun and unexpected addition to your decor. I'm imagining them in a shadow box placed much like in this picture.

Love the colours on them. Would end up using them for target practice though when I have PMT . Better not get them.

They should be paired up with something that reminds one of Robin Hood.

these are so beautiful! I love how the fact that they are weapons is decontextualized when they're displayed as art!

Saw a bunch of vintage arrows displayed in a vase in Smith & Butler in Brooklyn recently and have been wanting my own ever since. So cool.

I can't recall ever seeing arrows used as decor before, but after seeing these, I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a new trend...

Apartment Therapy & The Estate of Things recently posted about arrows. The commenters on AT surprisingly didn't like them for the most part. I don't get it, I think they are pretty neat, great way to add some color in an unexpected way.
