Weekend Project: Vertical Garden DIY Panels

Ok, I know this as a weekend project is a little far fetched, but one can dream no? I don't know about you, but all this warm spring-like weather we are having here is making me long for some good outdoor gardening, and these living succulent vertical gardens by Flora Grubb Gardens really have me chomping at the bit. I know this could be indoors too, but I'm thinking about our fence. I would so love this! Flora Grubb Gardens are selling these Vertical Garden DIY Panels online here (a 20"x20" square panel is $99.95). Click here for more inspiration. This is so incredibly cool. I've seen whole vertical garden walls, which were incredible, but this seems more achievable. Lovely!

ever since I went to spain last year and saw the most wonderful 'living wall' at the cultural center across from the Prado (Madrid) I have been obsessed with having one of these in my yard.

Great post
Turning a garden on its side to create a verdant, vertical surface not only looks good but promotes wildlife, good air quality and sustainabilty too
Most living wall designs can work in a home environment and more and more people are installing them
