Inspiration: Let's Colour Project

A rather beautiful project has been colouring the world these past couple of months. The Let's Colour Project launched by French paint company, Dulux Valentine, is a project to paint public places (starting in Rio, London, Jodhpur, Marseille and coming up Istanbul) with a mission to spread colour wherever they go. Working together with local communities across these cities they are painting streets, houses and squares. Click here to learn more and here for their flickr. Also see movie (at bottom)- it's amazing. My favourite is Rio, what's yours?

ooo, that is so cool! it would be so fun to have houses painted all sorts of colors like this... especially in winter when it is dreary!

The deep, royal purple is just stunning, especially with contrasting yellow.

YES PLEASE.

Wish I didn't live in a security deposit controlled apartment in NYC where everything has to remain white.

Beautiful project! The first photo reminded me of all the Holi colors (the color festival in India).
