Spool

Beautiful vases by Dutch artist, Mara Skujeniece. The series, 'Spool' vases arose from her interest and love for textiles. The design was inspired by the forms and structures of industrial yarn bobbins used in the weaving or knitting of fabrics. Varying in size, texture and structure, the family of vases is made of white porcelain. Handmade in The Netherlands. (Via Aesthetic Outburst).

Mara is a friend and her work is one of the reasons I started my own online shop www.zilu.nl. It's the only place online where she sells her stuff. It's nice to read that you all love her work too :-)
