Today we're honoured to share the stunning new home (fondly dubbed, La Casa Azul) of artist Geninne Zlatkis and her family situated in the beautiful hills of Queretaro, Mexico. Built and designed by her husband Manolo, the home is made of concrete and stone, custom wood kitchen cabinets and boasts a mountain view to die for. Manolo also custom built most of the furniture using Tzalam wood to compliment the beautiful concrete interior. With sprinklings of Geninne's magic styling touch and art, together they have created an amazing living space that we can all be inspired by. (Thanks Geninne & family for letting us share here).

Two Windows
The small hallway that connects the studio from the living/dining area has facing windows with beautiful view on both sides. Geninne took this photo from the little patio just outside the dining room.

Geninne's Studio
A cheery robin's egg blue sets the tone to Geninne's art studio. They have since placed the desk she usually paints on to the corner window to take advantage of the pretty view (see image below). Also note her inspiration wall (below image).

such a lovely open and airy space. And in Mexico! What a lucky family!
I had already seen them (or rather, drooled on them !!) on Flickr, but it's such a treat to see them again here. Geninne & Manolo have built their dream home, I am so happy for them & their lovely boys.

Beautiful! But, most of all, I love how bright and sunshine-y the rooms are!
What a stunning and beautifully detailed home. The rooms are so light and energising, and the view looks to be fantastic! I love her inspiration wall... (I have a 'thing' for trees and butterflies), and those kitchen cabinets are superb.
