Weekend Project: Gingerbread House

The girls from Honestly WTF led me to this lovely little Gingerbread House DIY from a nice little blog called Globtrotter Diaries. I'm liking this weekend project because it's part craft and part food. Double the fun! Click here to get the instructions.

I've never made one, but I like the simplicity of this in your photo... not a fan of gumdrop decorations. :)

Agreed. It almost feel like a frosting take on simple lace patterns. Lovely! Too cute to eat!

Those are lovely. I'm putting 14 of these together for my daughters bday party on sunday - although I'm quite sure they will end up heaped with candy :) Have fun..

Yay for gingerbread houses! My brother and I still host an annual gingerbread house gathering when we come home for the holidays. (Although we actually like to use graham crackers.) Ours is on Monday night. Cant wait!
