Cable Colour Management

Spring colour week is taking me in all sorts of different directions and I think one could very easily just write about coloured things all day long. As a piggy-back post to my last post on Mouta,  a reader (thank you Irene) led me to a site in Rotterdam that is filled with all sorts of coloured electrical cords. I haven't seen anything (that I'm aware of anyway) similar here in North America, but wow.  The company name is Snoerboer and as Irene tells us the word "snoeren" means cords in the Netherlands. How about a pink cable in a jar? I think we all need a few pink power cords in our lives don't you?

Pretty cool! Looking at this you're wondering why people would use black or white plastic cord...

Fantastic! They remind me of pretty shoelaces. They would be perfect for my woven lampshades. Thanks for the links. I'm excited!

Love these! I've made our own lamp shade for a pendant light but i've been needing a pendant cable of sorts and this is just perfect!

I love this product!!! We have to find a way to get them here in the states. Man, the Scandinavians have all the cool stuff. ;)

This post got me searching online and I found a company in Maine that manufactures their own cords. They have a pretty wide selection; larger than anything I've seen on this side of the pond.
