Dispatches from Sweden: Anna Backlund

Contributor post by Elisabeth from Fine Little Day

Hi, Elisabeth from Fine Little Day here. Today I visited a freind and colleague of mine, Anna Backlund. Actually she shares a studio with me now for a couple of weeks. Anna is a textile designer, a talanted one as you can see. When she's not in the studio with me she studies at School of Art and Crafts, HDK in Gothenburg. This is where I visited her today, in one of the school's atelier. Anna who's working with an exhibition gave me (and now you) the opportunity to take a peek at her coming work for the exhibition.
"Tufta" - crafting, for real. Can't decide which side I like most, the front or the back. Both beautiful, in different ways." This peek was a pure vitamin kick for someone like me. Hope you enjoy it too.
