Minna of Time of Aquarius in Helsinki emailed me after reading my cool IKEA hacks post this week pointing me in her direction of an IKEA hack she did last year using an old IKEA coat rack (do you have one of those tucked away in storage)? She so cleverly removed the small plastic nibs and replaced them with solid wooden balls to make an Eames-like coat rack. Check out her how-to here and while you're at it check out hernice-looking entry hall before and after. Thanks Minna!

This is great! I've wanted one of those Eames hang it alls for ages. Shame they don't make the coat rack anymore otherwise I'd be making this tomorrow!
If you can't find the IKEA rack anymore, apparently there is a closetmaid version that also can be transformed, it look slightly different but the same concept.
