Real Wedding No. 2 - Shauna + Jacob

Today we're being treated to the beautiful Vancouver wedding of Shauna and Jacob photographed by Pacific Northwest photographer James Moes.  Don't you just love these pictures of them in the forest? And Shauna's dress is perfect. After you view the photo's you'll find a few words from the bride, Shauna on details of their day (after the jump).  Thank you Shauna and Jacob!  (And thanks to James Moes)!  Psssst! You can visit Shauna's blog here!

Dress : My dress was custom made (for under $1000!) at L'Mode Bridal  in Tustin, CA.
Coordination : The day came together even more beautifully than we imagined, thanks to the help of Jenna Smith of Revel Events. Her hard work, creativity, and incredible attention to detail made the day run perfectly!
Catering: Chef Ricci-Leigh Smith at The Perfect Bite Catering Company provided action stations and a decadent buffet of delicious food for both dinner and dessert. The menu was kosher, mostly vegetarian, and sustainably sourced… and so, so yummy!
Decor: Colin Upright at Upright Decor created the magical birch chuppah for the ceremony, and adorned the reception space with a canopy of cabaret lighting that was the perfect compliment to the exposed wood beams of the Roundhouse Exhibition Hall.
Florals: Gloria Cheung at The Flower Factory is a floral genius. She was a dream to work with, and can turn any floral vision into a reality! She took my inspiration photos and created an elegant mix of garden-inspired wildflowers that went beyond my expectations. The flowers were breathtaking!
Videographer: Because Jacob is a filmmaker, he was in charge of deciding how and by whom the wedding would be filmed. We love the look of vintage Super-8 wedding videos, but also wanted some modern HD coverage of their day. We hired Rafael Ziah Franco and his wife Rachel to document the day.
Hair: My friend Jacob Rozenberg did my hair, and friend Kylie Goldstein did my makeup.
Band: Famous Players Band kept the party going all evening long. They were SUCH crowd-pleasers that everyone was sad when their last set was over! True professionals, talented musicians, and all-around fun people!
