Cool Decorating Trick: Old Drawers in New Places

I just downloaded the June issue of Real Living and instantly fell in love with the industrial space home of Alfonso Valles, an artist and his family (his wife is Virginie Denny, a trend forecaster and fashion stylist) based in Paris.  Their home has a real cosy vibe even though there are strong industrial aspects (like the concrete floor and loft-like structure).  What struck me were the old drawers as a sort of common denominator from room to room.  My favourite piece; the one above in a shelving unit storing all their music media and players. The combination of the old drawers, vintage hardware and the iron shelf work so well together. These second-hand finds and reclaimed materials create a warm and lived-in feel.  Can you find them all in each picture?  See more pictures of their beautiful home at petrabindel.com.
