Design Show Love

Maison & Objet
So much happening in the design show world this month with imm cologne, Maison & Objet, Toronto's IDS13 this weekend, pictures are popping up from everywhere, and I'm really exciting about some of the things people are posting!  For example, Karine of Bodie and Fou has part 2 up of her coverage at Maison & Objet.  How gorgeous are those wooden chopping boards from "Nourritures Premieres" - an exhibition gathering beautiful, natural objects. Igor of Happy Interior Blog out of Germany and France has a few more pics of the Maison & Objet design fair worth checking out if you haven't seen enough yet. He mentions the theme this year at the show seemed to be colour and individuality.  Loving these chairs from Belgian design label Declercq (retro chairs are reinterpreted with colorful leather upholstery).  I also am drawn to the collection from French label Colonel - lots of happy lighting, pastel hues and more colour.

If you missed imm cologne and all the bloggers posting things, Igor has a nice set from that event as well including these beautiful candy coloured textiles by Austria-based Nya Nordiska or the refined wood work by Team 7.  Lots of beautiful things to see (click here for more from Cologne).

IDS13
Next up, Canada's turn at IDS13 and I'm looking forward to seeing what shows up Canadian wise, I'm hoping to see some more pics of this chair, The Station Chair  by Halifax's Trunk Studio (loving it upholstered in the MacAusland’s 100% Virgin Wool from Prince Edward Island). Stay tuned for more coverage from IDS13!

Anyone have any more good links to the shows out there?  I'd love to see more!
