Since we’ve been renovating our home I’ve been looking for “temporary
fixes” for problem walls that we’re not yet ready to permanently paint
or paper yet. Anyone who has lived in a renovation knows what I’m
talking about; sometimes it might be budget-related and you can’t yet
fix a room the way you want yet or maybe it’s a domino effect; you can’t
fix one problem until you finish another. Well for us it’s both and so
to deal with it I’ve been resorting to papering some of our problem
walls (this one in our hall), another is the downstairs bathroom with
temporary wallpaper solutions. I’ve been loving the nautical look this
spring so I created
this printable paper using vintage ship photo’s I’ve
found on the
flickr commons site. The result, a cool paper that is so
easy to apply to a feature wall. Obviously you can’t cover large walls,
but this idea is a great fix for smaller areas – and fun thing –it’s
also perfect for Father’s Day wrapping paper!

hunting for other printables you could do the same with. Visit my post over at Babble today to see more printable or budget-friendly wallpaper ideas! (Click

These are great ideas. When i was in my last place (a very small uninteresting flat) and didnt have much money, i had two really big walk in cupboards that i used for wardrobes and i papered the inside of them to add a little bit of colour and pattern to the room.
It looked lovely xxx
Ooooh! Is very Beautiful.
What a great idea. I've been wanting to do this too, but didn't know where I could find budge options.
So SO PRETTY!!
